Introduction to ICEfaces 2.0: Next Gen JSF AJAX Development
This hands-on 50 minute presentation will provide a complete introduction to the ICEfaces 2 framework. You'll learn how ICEfaces 2 extends JSF 2 with features such as Ajax Push, Direct-to-DOM, and Automatic AJAX and allows you to easily build rich Web 2.0 apps without requiring any knowlege of Javascript or AJAX. The hands-on demo will show you how to easily build rich, data-driven Enterprise applications with ICEfaces 2 with the Eclipse Helios 3.6 IDE using JPA, JSF 2, Facelets, and ICEfaces 2.
About the speaker: Philip Breau has over 6 years of experience developing Enterprise apps with JSF. He has worked at ICEsoft Technologies on ICEfaces since 2006 in Component and Framework development, Training, and Engineering Services.
